Wall object with mixed technique on birch, unique piece
Dimensions: 166 x 193.50 x 6 cm
Depending on where one stands spatially and mentally, Hanna Roeckle's works change. This may be true for works of art in general, but it is especially true here. The hexagonal tableau made of birch wood, composed of various triangles and polygons painted over in rich contrast, creates a changing spatial dimension. Its structures oscillate between two- and three-dimensionality and must be constantly reorganised by the viewer.
Hanna Roeckle was born in Liechtenstein in 1950 and lives and works in Zurich. Themes from geometry and physics, cultural, design and architectural history characterise her works, which are therefore often characterised by a strict formal language. Hanna Roeckle is known for her paintings, sculptures and spatial installations.
